Your insurers will require you to have your jewellery checked and revlaued on regular basis, every 3 -5 years. Once your jewellery has been valued by us we offer a dramatically reduced fee to encourage you to have your jewellery regulalry checked over:-
Kayes can even offer a same day valuation/re-valuation service, for all items that have been previously valued by us or purchased from us.
- Call us to book a same day appointment.
- Bring in your items and original Kayes valuation.
- Your jewellery will be checked, cleaned and revalued.
- Fixed fee of £25 plus £5 per item.
- Fees are plus VAT at the current rate.
For items that you have inherited or purchased elsewhere:-
- £45 document charge
- 1.5% of the insured value (up to £10,000)
- then 1% of the insured value (over £10,000)
- Photographic service available at extra cost.
- Fees are plus VAT at the current rate.
We are able to offer a home visit service for larger collections and we also undertake Probate valuations for estates and Probate Departments.
