Vintage Kutchinsky Brooch Enquiry
This cheerful little 'Teddy' strikes a jaunty pose with hands on hips, a knotted kerchief and happy smile. The textured fur body is made entirely in 18 carat hallmarked yellow gold and his nose is inset with a single bright red cabachon cut ruby. The focal point is his eye, the white gold and diamond set eye socket framing a bright 'burnt-orange' fancy coloured diamond. This novelty item can be worn as a brooch or as a pendant, hung from a chain via a concealed fitting. Total weight 14.4 grams. London Assay marks for the year 1961. Signed Kutchinsky.
